That would be enough for me to avoid it. Why does he have $5,000 of receipts for? Service on a 496HO should run $600-$800. I would be worried what he spent the other $4000 on.

That looks like Cheetah06 on the board's boat. Although with his screen name, I am guessing his is an 06. I went out on one a Stileto once. It seemed like a nice boat, but it felt like it was getting a little loose at high speeds (in the mid 90's).

Nope not mine... I wouldn't want to go 90 in mine, 70 is plenty.

If you zoom in the third picture it appears like the hull has a piece of patch laid on it right in the center like it was worn out from running onto too many beaches.

Looks like a Keel guard to me. Interior lokks bad. Save the 10K and buy Westair's :thumbsup

The one on craigslist sounds like someone either bought that boat at an auction, or some how gained possession of it because he is certainly not describing it as a boat owner would. Which could explain why he had 5000 dollars worth of work done to it and over priced it.
