My friend and I were talking and we noticed we have not seen a newly built Cheetah Fast Cat in awhile. Any reason for that?

I think they are being made... Not really sure. But what I can say is the last time I was in Havazoo I saw a ton of the them. Was bullshitting with a guy who has a 24 with a 525 in it. Says it's got up into the 70's real quick.

Cheetah will always have a place in the market but up and coming companies like Tahiti may put a dent in some comparable models

Ya just interesting the fast cat isn't a more popular boat for a low income boat. The only owners I've met had a 2008 and older.

I have a 97 Cheetah scorpion boat has had 2 problems in 200+ hours boating gimbal Bering and gas tank leak due to stereo install screw rubbing hole in gas tank. Boat has never been towed but has towed plenty of others like a playcraft from sandbar to pirates cove

My buddy has 700+ hours on his 2000 Scorpion. He had to replace the gimbal ring last year, and a fuel pickup issue on one tank. It has been a solid boat and never stranded him. It is ready for a new interior though. Last year the seats were getting loose. We replaced the seat bolts with larger stainless bolts and it has been good since. The floors are still solid but he may replace them when he does the interior. Al the remaining hardware will be replaced with stainless when that happens.

Yea, I almost bought one myself, but many of them have hideous gel. :) They ride really well, and handle great.

How many of you have found concrete poured in under the floor up front to keep the boats from porpoising? I have found several mainly the tunnel vee’s!
