I’m traveling from Cheeseland in a few days to Sacramento for my college fraternity national convention. Never been in the land of fruits and nuts, and likely won’t have a lot of time outside of scheduled events that take us to a venue for dinner and a little local fun. (Two years ago in Milwaukee we held a dinner event at the Harley museum).

Looking forward to seeing the area. Hopefully the airline chaos will be corrected and all travel goes smoothly

Absolutely don’t leave anything in your rental vehicle you don’t want stolen. Tweakers are out there, watching. And then you get to explain why your rental is missing a window.

I’d post something in the outboard church section. Lots of Delta guys in there. You’re in the heart of some of the best boating in the country.

Fanny Ann's Saloon in old town. If you like trains the train museum is pretty cool. Downtown has good food. If you can get some time on the water that's always a plus.

I don’t get all the California hate. State has been awesome for me.

This place is across the river outside Davis. Daughter had her graduation party here. Great venue, great beer, good music and they have the Hotdogger food truck serving food. Guy Fieri did a show on them. Great for kids as they can play with the chickens and frogs.

The hate is (indirectly) directed at our two-faced political constiuents.
For as many out of state haters there are my coastline is inundated with Az & Utah(among many others) plates that timidly drive like they're totally lost, afraid to turn right on red, stop in the road randomly & generally just aggrevate others around them.
Yeah, this place sucks.
