That officer's Sargeant should have called him up front at the next day's shift change and told the room "This is how you correctly engage a non-cooperative subject. Officer Alaniz handled this in a professional manner, and he is to be commended for following protocols with a cool and respectful demeanour."

Then the Sheriff's office should have released the traffic stop video and the Sargeant's praise of Officer Alaniz to the media. These fucktards need to be called out and ridiculed, and the officers that put up with that shit should be recognized and celebrated.

After she was put into the patrol car her friend and Lawyer who was at the scene managed to get her to give the officer her drivers license as she was cuffed in the car, she was issued a ticket and let go 12 minutes later arguing the whole time. She can either pay the ticket for attend the court date on Feb 25th. I'll bet she pays the ticket... No way she's gonna win this one in court. I only wished she used the term "Don't you know who I am?"... That's when they get in trouble.

Unfortunately, I would say this is a win for her since she received a lot of leniency. Most people would just go to jail.

I don't know how LEO's do it... It's gotta be tough when people have the attitude of "What's your Name and badge number" "I've got my rights", I think people watch too much TV, lol...
