These are starting to pop up on sites like boat setter on the East Coast. Lots of similar features as the Axopars. Not sure if the build quality is the same but an interesting alternative.

I am very familiar with Saxdor……….

I know a lot about them. I will chime in if there are questions.

i will say this……… These boats are still subpar. Hopefully that will change.

I have been a member of an owners Facebook group ever since this brand started. I know the good and the bad.

I think C-Ya just pointed out the catch....."Subpar". That doesn't sound good at all.

I gotta say, I LOOOOOOVE the AXOPAR 37 cross cabin. I could seriously see one of those in our future. Fantastic versitility for the style boating we do, IE open the side doors and rag top for havasu sun, close it all up for foggy cooler ocean runs. Could overnight...Such a great boat

Saxdor will eventually be a great boat. It’s design is great.

Here are some complaints from owners……..

No forward ring eye for towing.

The fold down platforms can’t hold more than a ballerina. While we’re on this subject…….. the hinges of the fold down platforms/terraces can easily bend. Now the platforms won’t go back into position.

The multiple options for seat configuration are very difficult to use.

Multiple electrical issues.

Everything above are minor stuff, but it ads up. I know that Saxdor is addressing these issues. In fact, the new 34 does address some of the issues the 32 had.

Saxdor is going to be a great boat. Soon as their popularity rises, so will their prices. Right now, a Saxdor is one of the most reasonably priced boats on the market. They have been picked up by MarineMax as a dealer.

The reason why they look and sound like an Axopar is because the same guy who designed the Axopar, is the same guy who designed the Saxdor.

FWIW……….. I am currently following another new brand of boat………. NAVAN. They are owned by Brunswick. They are already available in Europe. They are now coming to the U.S. As usual……. I see room for improvement to the NAVAN. But there is a lot to like too. It should be on par with a Boston Whaler, quality wise. Mercury power too!

^^ Thanks that makes sense!

I had a subpar older Commander for a while and I know what you mean coming from stronger and better-rigged boats. Though on those boats it wasn't as big an issue lol. Subpar on a boat like this sounds like more $$$ and headaches than I'm willing to deal with. Be a super sick Havasu boat though if they level up

Here is a NAVAN. I like the other model. The open. But this one is more comparable to the Axopar
