Anyone getting these, my neighbor got this but it's addressed to resident and is way different than the census we did in 2010 and 2020, it's like a 10 page booklet. It's asking for names, ages, sex, ss# for up to 12 people.

It also says that they were selected randomly to represent our neighborhood.

They are Hispanic and I think the state and/or fed is sending this to see if the state can get it's seat back before the 2030 census.

What do you guys think? Is it legit? This has red flags all over it in my eyes.

I was getting them, checked with my brother the CPA, finally they sent a guy to my house. Hard to figure it's required by law if it's not the normal 10 yr census, and I refrained from answering some of the questions.

Me too, you're not in California correct? I just told them to wait until the knock on the door and do not give them your SS# or DOB only tell them how many people in the house, race, age and sex

True story,

I got a jury summons when I was in paramedic school in 2007, I sent in the reqired information that I was in school and they excused me for 12 months. I didn't get another summons until 2021 where I refused to wear a mask, showed them my Dr's note and they excused me for 12 months. Haven't gotten one since

I finally got a doctor to write me a note that I was permanently unable to be on a jury due to injuries. Fuck jury duty!

Few years ago, when the G was doing the census thing, a neighbor woman was at my door several times trying to get me to complete the census.... Told her politely to pound sand..

Same neighbor used to post "Obama Biden" signs in her yard... a real Mrs Kravitz....

There was once a time, not that long ago, when Americans were proud to be included in the census... and even have their info in the white pages.....

My wife, a recent US Census employee in DC. She said the people that don’t fill out are the ones who will bitch about their school, infrastructure and what ever else is needed in your specific area. She can go deep with this, it’s very useful info and they don’t share the information. It all for your own good.

I agree to a point… the census should be: sex, age, of the people living in the dwelling. That’s it…. Nothing else. They still have income from your taxes, they have your address… I totally agree with the statement about the complainers.

Keep in mind this data is shared with corporations looking to expand. Think about Home Depot, they are always looking at demographics to be able to expand. Down play it don’t expect results!
