Our family has been here for almost 30 years now and we've had very few problems during that length of time. I've had an outboard prop stolen and some other folks have lost tools and even a TV mounted in a private cabana. All things considered, we've all been fairly lucky.
My parents were monitoring their security system yesterday morning and saw an unknown male subject in their carport, looking at their personal belongings. He was snooping around and then went to the transom of their boat where he bent over as if looking at the outdrive. He then scurried out around the rear of their place and out of sight.
As of right now, we don't believe he took anything. Management was notified and responded rather quickly.
Subject appears to be a male white, approximately 20-25, average height and slightly overweight. He has thick, unkept dirty blonde or light brown hair and was unshaven. Wearing all black clothing. The photos of him aren't great, so go easy on me.
This is more of a PSA for folks who are in the area. Don't leave anything out you aren't willing to lose. Lock things up as best you can and if you see anyone suspicious, please let Thor or Rhonda know.
I checked the thread from a few weeks ago about the two male subjects seen trying door handles in the Keys.....I don't think this is one of those two guys. This guy looks a little heavier.
