Is it the norm for banks to charge a business a fee to deposit cash? That really rubs me the wrong way, Wells does it, do other major banks so the same? Roughly about $75 to deposit $7500 cash that a guy gave me for a boat.

That is some new BS.
My wife’s @ home bakery is almost 100% cash, BofA not charging us anything when we do the monthly cash deposit into the bakery’s business account.

That is ludicrous. I’ve always banked with Chase and never had that problem.

My money would be outta there so fucking fast. Fuck WF. I wouldn't deposit a dime against a dogs ass at that bank. Go to Google and find out which banks WANT your money without charging you MONEY to get your MONEY. That's what's going on here. Fucking greedy banks.

What if you put it into your personal account and then transfer? I use Wells and have deposited over $10k a couple times without issues. Thats a personal account though

It’s a monthly amount and it’s bullshit. When my company got our PPP loan the bank we got it through gave us a debit card. When I went to transfer our first payroll with the card they tried to nail me with it. I went and met with my business banker at Wells right there on the spot and told her I was moving all my accounts. She said they would waive it this one time, so I told her next time I will close my accounts.

Wells Faargo has been doing for awhile... Nevada one credit union Won't let you deposit cash has to be thru a teller machine I tried doing it into a customer's account at the only branch in LV with tellers and they said no!

I wouldn't pay that fee. I'd just keep the cash.

What pisses me off is that I can't sit with a banker in private to make a large cash withdraw. They make you go to the teller in front of everyone and announce loudly what you're doing.

They tried giving me some crap about having to put in an order for cash 1 week in advance. I told them to cut me a cashiers check for all my deposits so I could go bank somewhere else and they gave me the cash I wanted.

That’s insane! Go to a credit union. These banks don’t offer any interest to hold your money and now they charge to deposit it? Sounds like people need to start using cash again and take the banks out of the equation as much as possible.

I just left Wells Fargo in Torrance and specifically asked. They said no fee. Asked me what location was charging a fee.

If that paper note catches up to that big ass number on the computer screen, you'll be using it for toilet paper. 😂

The Gov't just or is about to print trillions. What do you think that's going to do to the value? Just something to think about....

This is why boat / gun / car values are sky rocketing and are not coming back down.

$50. No bullshit. And I bought that last week.

I'm not spreading investment benefits, I'm just telling you where I see this headed. You can take it or leave it, but to not gather your info and make your own decisions, I think you're selling yourself short. 😉

It depends. Some of their basic business accounts they are starting to charge for large amounts. Even when I was a teller there back in 1997, there was an option for that but we never charged.

Analysis accounts have always charged but balances offset the services used through earnings credit.

I realize I’m on a different end of the industry but your story refortifies my general rule of not depositing cash. Ever.

I don't know why anybody would ever bank with Wells Fargo. They have some of the shadiest business practices and a real sketchy history..

i hate them as well but I’m in too deep. Nearly 50 eft deposits from insurance carriers each month would need to be changed just for starters

What’s even worse is when those mother F’rs ask “so what are you planning to spend this on” or “so did you sell something or ??” when you deposit or withdraw cash. I hate Wellsfargo anymore.

I think I’d just tell them.. why the he’ll do I have to pay you to put money in your bank so you can lend it to others and make money off my money?

waive it forever or see those big accounts with the commas? They will go down the street.

I have gold and some silver...

I think it will eventually go to digital. But I can’t imagine it happening over night.

The Arabs will always be on gold / diamonds / silver - precious..

never forget that.. and at the end of the day they are the richest countries in the world.

We should have never gone off the gold standard... short time gain for forever loss when this shit goes sideways.

My wife sold mortgages for Wells Fargo for awhile. Shaddy, Greedy bastards. They forced her to open checking and savings accounts just to recieve her paycheck. Their practices are beyond moral or ethical. She transferred all of her money except 100.00 each month away from Wells accounts and got called on the carpet for it several times. She finally told them what she thought of them and quit right after she closed all of her accounts. They told her that they would charge her a 5% fee to close her accounts and she said too late, I already closed them.
I hate Bankers, Lawyers, and Politicians.
I think they are all greedy, self serving pricks.

It’s the natural progression of zero percent interest rates and the practical application of negative interest rates..

Negative interest rates occur when borrowers are credited interest rather than paying interest to lenders. With negative interest rates, banks charge you interest to keep cash with them, rather than paying you interest.

Gold is nothing more than another commodity and the Gold Standard is flawed.
If an inch is an inch and a gallon is a gallon and a mile is a mile and they are all Standard Units of Measure that never change then how can Gold be any kind of Standard Unit of Measure when its value changes?
In my opinion Gold as a hedge against anything is nothing more than the greatest con man's pitch in history with Bitcoin right behind it.
Just my opinion.

You can't go wrong with physical Gold or Silver. Hyper Inflation is whats really scary and top that off with the death of the Petro Dollar looming the writing is on the wall. Kinda makes this supposed coming Great Reset of the global economy a real possibility. They are using Convid as the main driver to implement their plan. Around 9.100 actual Covid 19 deaths.......we shut down the fucking whole global economy for only 9,100 deaths......makes no sense until you remember all those banker deaths over the past few years. The banking cartels house of cards is crumbling under their feet so they have to act now or never. There are very dark clouds on the horizon.
