2016 Full Carbon Fiber Infused Built in Australia. The Boat will be set up for F-2 class Water ski Racing.
Ships in A couple weeks and hope to have rigged for season opener Parker March 5th.

I gave up on the Raf-2 build Mid August and The Velocity started Early September.


The Black is Clear Gel Exposed Carbon.

Hey Joe, Hows the Skater coming along?. They said the fuel tank is made much thicker than a standard tank. Supposed to last Forever, time will tell. Notice its secured on the top corners and has room to expand in the middle. Also no foam, there is a plug to the bilge. The floatation is in front of the ballast tank.

Wow!! Skater looks insane, Lots of one off Custom Rigging. Lets get that thing wet. That Myco trailer was worth every penny, still looks like the day she arrived a short 11 years ago.

I will be Hanging Jackplate, Motor and Tabs at Archer Marine again while the Pacific Alum. Trailer gets built. Brian Vesley will be doing the detailed wiring and rigging in Havi.
He used to work Rigging for Nordic and is my Mens F-2 Skier next season,

Minor setback, The Fucked up and sprayed Transom Black Gel in the Mold. It was supposed to be all white Capped, They are respraying today. All the black is actually clear gel exposed Carbon.



Side panels are Carbon sprayed White gel and will have cut-outs with inserts but not this design. The floor is flow coated down the flat middle area but angle and hillsides stay Clear exposed Carbon. Still needs to be sanded and clear.

Still waiting for Photo of Carbon Hatch with build in Seat. Notice its taped on side panel. Side panels and hatch are less than 50 pounds.

Yep a few creature comforts, Got the Grandkids behind the boat this year we had kids fun Races lunch break. Did you get rid of the ski pole on the Skater, we used the shit out of that. Tunnle Tab came in handy.

Updates from Velocity Today Carbon Foam sandwich Hatch/Seat Clear Carbon.
I will finish here with light weight Backrest and removed bottom Cushion.



Total weight of panels and bench is under 50 pounds. Just have to keep my observer on a diet.

They thought I was crazy too, Turns out hey made a mold for the Hatch/Seat and now it will be a standard option.

The Velocity is back at Race Marines shop starting partial Rigging, Ballast, Fuel system, Helm and Verado 50 cc pump and Front Seats. They also resprayed Transom White.

Hopefully ships middle of next week.

Dude, I paid extra for those mag Wheels LOL. Container is being delivered to Pacific Trailer for another welded alum. Trailer. Hoping to get it sitting lower than the Bernico.

Apparently she didn't leave Australia until Feb. 19th. I got confirmation from Customs agent in Long Beach arrives 3/18/16. I have 2 weeks to finish rigging before Elsinore Race.



I lost another buyer for the Bernico in November had to keep it to run last weekend Parker season opener. She's cleaned up and put away ready for a new owner.

Pulled her out of the container Friday. Pacific was to busy to template trailer so Put her on Vesleys Tige Trailer and Rigging started Saturday.

See you Thursday Wheeler we have 5 hours of break-in Thursday, Practice Ski Friday and Race in Havasu Springs Saturday. Fueled her up today. Should have all the loose ends done tomorrow.

My guess would be ballast.

Its A IN-Contol Twin shifter and yes Handle towards panel is Ballast. When its back ballast is up Forward for fill. I didn't like the shifter, Ballast lever and sides panels they rigged so I scrapped them and made my own panels. The In-control is very smooth.

The Footrest will be similar to what I made for the Bernico only Lighter. It adjustable and removable in 5 minutes. Getting anodized today.

I will take photos of finished product tomorrow.





Boat goes back to Pacific Trailer next Monday to fit Welded Alum. Trailer.
