Discount tire stopped carrying Carlisle again. ( they stopped years ago due to issues then started again once Carlisle reworked the tire according to DT. The store by me said there were too many issues and they discontinued them again.

Not sure if that’s the case or they found a tire with better profit margins. The tires they were carrying in a 205 75 15 were mostly Chinese names I had not heard of.

I Have run these 8008 Maxxis for the last 10 years. No issues.

Speaking of Carlisle and Chinese tires I'd never heard of ---- recently noticed a new strange pulsating vibration with my Rzr trailer. Not being well set up at Havasu for messing with wheel bearings, I took it over to Adrenaline Trailers and had them do a complete check and service. Wheel bearings were fine, so just re-greased, but one of my "New and Improved" Carlisles I'd purchased 4 years ago at Discount had a tread separation but caught it before it blew out. Trailer is always garaged in Havasu, so not like it ever sat out in the sun. It was a load range D (65 PSI) I'd always run at least 60lb + with just a two seater Rzr. Prior to that, the trailer had come with Load Range C and those cheap-ass tires never failed, but a strange wear pattern scared me.
Adrenaline replaced the Carlisle with an 8 ply (65 PSI) Chinese Gladiator brand they claim are holding up well. Guess we'll find out.
Adrenaline was great, dropped it off at 8AM and it was ready before noon.

My car tires have lasted 12 years on my extreme. Wide with a low profile for the SS fenders. Boat is garaged in Havasu and I believe they are 235/45 Hankooks. I pull the boat only 10 miles to Cat tail though. No long trips.

It varies. Never really the same tire. Last year the spare exploded while hanging on the trailer. At first i thought it was the dips on the 40 east cutting the edges but the tires are just blowing apart. This is the tire size.

Why are you running Mud & Snow (M+S) tires on a trailer? You should be running straight summer tires.

I have no idea. I need to pay a bit more attention to my trailer and a lot of other things. I didn’t even know that’s what they were.

I rotate my tires twice a year on boat trailer, rears X to front and front go straight back. I also use pure nitrogen for filing them. I just use my bottle that’s for my shocks drain completely no purge as i don’t have an evac tool
