Selling the wife's SUV. One owner deal. No wrecks. I've kept up on its services and put alot of cash into it. Maintaining it and fixing known issues. It's a good rig. I'm encouraging people that are interested in it to have a mechanic inspect it.
Do I drive it to the shop of their choice?
Kinda sucks because she's all detailed out and it's snow season.

That's how I have done it in the past with sales. They usually come look at it, put a deposit on it and we go to there mechanic on a different day and if it checks out they buy it.

That's what I figured I usually buy new or know what I'm looking at.
Sucks. Because it's at least 40-50 minutes round trip to.the closest shop.
Snow and wet roads until March.

If you are lucky they bring there mechanic with them. I used to bring my uncle with me who was a mechanic when I was looking at cars. But that is probably not typical.

Its not a beater. But my kids don't want it. Wife thought she wanted something smaller.

I've sold a lot of vehicles over the years and they either bought it or not right there on the spot, no mechanics, so doubtful you'll even need to.

Have you done any online quotes from say Carmax and give me the Vin .com, etc. as sometimes selling it to them is easier than trying yourself if you don't want the hassle of spammers, etc. plus they are hassle free towards you even if you just input the basic info just to see what they may give.

At this point you need to post more details or start a for sale thread and link it. Also where is it exactly?
