Very nice
ASmart choice. Especially on the lakes and rivers where help is a long ways away if you find yourself skidding slideways or tumbling across the water or worse. Ruins a lot of people's day.
100%! Also my wife is always with me, and she thinks our open bow Commander is too fast.Smart choice. Especially on the lakes and rivers where help is a long ways away if you find yourself skidding slideways or tumbling across the water or worse. Ruins a lot of people's day.
Good to hear. What did you have for power? My Sprint topped at 82 with the power I had in it, and was very stable. Greg said it would be stable into the 90’s, which was good enough for me at the time.
They were fast hulls in a straight line. Turns they were a bit touchy. A few people used them in circle racing pretty successfullyMy Sprint topped at 82 with the power I had in it, and was very stable. Greg said it would be stable into the 90’s, which was good enough for me at the time.
Stock stroke or stroker deal?It was nothing crazy, the original motor. 2 bolt bottom end, original pistons and I added a clay smith cam, some edelbrock heads, tunnel ram and 660s. It ran really well for what it was, of course it wasn’t this pretty when I got the boat

Original stock bottom end. When I got the Sprint it had very little hours on it. I was the second owner, the original owner said it was to fast and parked it. When he died, his best friend put it up for sale with the proceeds going to his friends son. It was neglected, and not in very clean shape after sitting under a cover outside for quite awhileStock stroke or stroker deal?
Sad ending for the orig. Owner and boats demise. Nice job on the resto. Looks like a fun piece.Original stock bottom end. When I got the Sprint it had very little hours on it. It was a really nice boat. Unfortunately the person who owns it now is letting it do the same thing, it is in florida rotting away. Had a guy in Florida contact me who was trying to buy it after seeing it in a backyard, tracked me down by the socaljetboats sticker I had on the scoop plug. Guess the owner had health issues but wouldn't sell it to the guy, and it rots away. He sent me pics of itSad ending for the orig. Owner and boats demise. Nice job on the resto.
