Water temp was still good, we were still swimming after dark. That looks terrible!!!
How was the water temp? Our kids have fall break this coming week and we might hit Lake Pleasant before things cool off too much
The water level fluctuation is no joke there. Went there for the first time in July on a pontoon boat. We were hanging out on the beach for about an hour, and the water level was constant the whole time. All of a sudden in a span of 10 minutes the boat was high and dry. I’m used to the river in Needles, so I’m not new to water level changes. But never seen it happen that quick.I camped/beached on that same spot with the rocks Halloween 2015 in my "first cruiser" I had no idea how much the water would fluctuate overnight...woke up every hour to let the boat out farther and still woke up beached.... Saw a lot of wildlife that night... Cool spot but ill stick to daytime lol
Canyon is gorgeous. We go there almost every weekend thru summer. We saw these guys last time we were out there.Looks beautiful out there
Look at the pictures, the waters green, and when you pull the boat out, it takes weeks to rub off.Quiet, the only cool place to boat is Lake Havasu.
Quite it.
Skip canyon and go to Apache. You will thank me later.Got it.
We’re dragging the Nautique to PHX for the week leading up to Memorial weekend this next year. That lake is on the list to go to….
I’m going to have to report you if you don’t stop itGot it.

Saguaro? I like Saguaro more than Canyon. We’ve been to pleasant, we’ll do it again, it has its place. We’re going to hit “S”(I cannot spell it) one day, Apache and Canyon that week.
Apache is nice, but not worth tearing up your trailer and boat on a wash board dirt road. We’ve been to pleasant, we’ll do it again, it has its place. We’re going to hit “S”(I cannot spell it) one day, Apache and Canyon that week.
It’s not anymore. They have paved most of it from Roosevelt to burnt corralApache is nice, but not worth tearing up your trailer and boat on a wash board dirt road.

End of May is a great time. Lake Pleasant shuts down half the lake between December 15th and June 15th. Has two marinas with places to get a sandwich or pizza and a beer. If there is no Bald Eagle activity then they open up the lake earlier, before Memorial Weekend.
Canyon lake is narrow. Weekends suck, and most likely turned away. Try and do Canyon and Saguaro early M-Th, and you’ll love it.
Another great lake is Bartlett. I go to Barlett, when Lake Pleasant has half the lake shutdown.
Memorial weekend its Lake Pleasant. The lake is big, and rarely heard of anyone being turned away.
