I don't have a Jet Boat anymore it's an I/O bravo 1. 496mag.
Also what's a good price these days! Don't need plugs just oil, impeller, oil in drive, alignment, fuel filters, water separator Ect.

I've had service done at Concept Marine in Upland. I normally pay around $800 for service on my 454 with B3.

Prime Marine in Ontario, or Quality Performance in Corona would be the closest to you that I can think of off hand. Both are very capable shops.

I would vouch for B&D. But not sure he's going to be the cheapest. I generally stay away from budget mechanics though when it comes to my boat. I like for my boating to be as worry free as possible. So knowing my mechanic was thorough gives me a better piece of mind.

Makes sense locally if you store here. As stated though I would go off price alone. An annual service should be high six hundreds without any extra stuff needing done like new plugs, or new impeller housing etc. If someone is a grand and it's not justified then there are qualified places that can do it for the right price. But if you choose a guy because he's going to do it for 400 then you likely will have issues.

Caveat Emptor.

Seems like some good recommendations here. And BDMar is on the boards so I'm sure he knows if he were to pull something sketch that it'd go sideways with a fallout thread in a hot second.

El Monte is East of LA. Off of 10 between 605 and 710.

Well decided on rodesway boats in Upland. Close to my house and I have heard great things about this shop! Keeping fingers crossed. It's just a service but I don't like my boat anywhere but my garage. I'm going to learn how to do a full service myself one of these days!! I work on everything else Trucks, Bikes, trailers but I just haven't taken the leap into the I/0 Boat seen.
I used to pull my Motor out of the old South Wind Jet and work on it all the time.
But with this boat I have always just dropped it off for service! Lol

They are also going to install the relay for the Hatch Ram.
Thanks again for all the recommendations! I will let you guys know how they did when I get her back!!

Called Joel in the morning, dropped the boat off in the afternoon. Price wasn't the cheapest listed, but definitely not the most either. Getting his 100 hours service which is basically the standard all fluids, engine alignment, removeal of outdirve, inspection of all the parts, etc.... he has it listed on his website. Also having the trim indicator lines replaced and either going to have him rebuild the trim rams or I'll just buy a new set and install them.

I'll report back.

He has my boat in already and I dropped it off Wednesday morning!! He's a cool guy! I just dropped off a Hardin Marine water pump housing that I just picked up from Hallett.
Man he is getting busy!! I think you will be happy with his work!!

Well here's the Update!!! Joel got it all done today and the boat is all ready for Desert storm!!
I can't believe I have the boat back! I dropped it off Wednesday that's a two and half day turn around without me even calling!!
Top notch!! Highly recommend this shop to anyone on here!!!
I had them put in the Hardin Marine water pump housing so hopefully it will last a lot longer!
He also put the relay in for my ram on the hatch man what a difference!!!!!
Total cost without the Hardin Marine pump housing was 736 and that's with the relay.
The housing was another 440!
But I'm good to go now!! Hope this helps!

Dropped it off mid afternoon Thursday, got a call mid afternoon Friday that it was ready to go:yikes 100 hours service, rebuilt trim ram, and replaced worn out trim indicators and line. Picked the boat up Saturday and ran it Sunday. All is good and the price was great. Definitely will be a repeat customer.:thumbsup
