Went in the channel for my coffee this morning and they were all parked on the island side.

Wife counted 36 of them. I remember back in the 80’s, they were the cool boat to have in Havasu.

For sure! Grew up in bullhead on a Campbell day cruiser. Wasn’t a Sunday that we were not on the river.

Glad you took the video from across the channel. We walked the channel around noon and counted over 50 on the beach, probably more on the lake. Looks like they had a great turnout!

Didn’t they give you a Campbell boat if you bought one of the Condos in the channel way back when they were built? That would have been great..

I kinda like this style over the other regatta in town.

My first day druiser was a Campbell 20' with a Banks 850hp turbo motor and a turbo 400. Next was a pieced together 22' with a 454 by Ralph Tito when he bought Campbell. It was a POS and after one trip with it I dropped it off at his shop and told him I wanted a new boat. He took it back.
By this time the molds were moved to Eliminator. They laid up my 22' and rigged it. I had them move the strut up about 5" and it really carried the nose up.
Great boat.

I remember back in the 90’s thy would have a themed boat parade the weekend after Labor Day. One year it was a Nordic themed parade and one boat had a dragon blowing smoke out its nostrils.

I love seeing the old stuff on the water. I’d say there was more in the afternoon cruising through the channel after we left pirates

I wonder how the owner age compares to other brands.

It’s neat to see so many of them with names on the transom.
Was gonna be my comment too, the median age, I'd guess, might be almost twice.😲🥸

I remember in the '70s it was a big thing to do the factory tour, went many times.
Great nostalgic boats.

I was in the Campbell club for years, originally had a 28' flybridge, then several 24's, one with a blown 509, and the last one was a 24' wood deck with a stroked 427 Chevy, originally built by/for Otis Chandler (L.A, Times) and boat was named Missy, the second owner was Dan Blocker (Hoss Cartright on Bonanza). I bought from Judy Whelan after Bob passed away. That boat is now in Cor d' lane, ID.
Fun times for sure!

Grew up with my grandpa owning a campbell 24. His was one of the firsts out of the mold. It didn't have sliding side windows but had those round port holes on the sides. It was red white and blue and named Deliverance. I remember it had a wood trailer and they had to fill the tires with water so the trailer wouldn't float.

I was a participant this year for the 50th Campbell Regatta. I also own @Dkahnjob old blown 24' which is pictured on the beach. This years event was the best I have attended in recent years. There was a kick-off cocktail party and tacos @ Shugrues on Friday, reserved channel parking & BBQ lunch with Scoops Ice Cream on Saturday followed by cocktails, dinner & a live band under the bridge Saturday. There was a Sunday cruise to 3 Dunes or some chose to have breakfast at The Springs before heading to Dunes. Wonderful time surrounded by outstanding people. The event team outdid themselves this year!

Saw a few of these boats on the strip yesterday. Crossed paths with "Southern Comfort" several times. Great pictures.
