California DMV is useless

The DMV here in Yuma AZ took all the chairs out in the waiting area. Now it is just standing in lines. I asked them when they did it why would they do such an evil thing and they claimed it makes things go faster. I said imagine how fast the lines would go when the employees chairs disappeared. She didn't like that.

And I just setup up an appointment a AZ MVD for tommorow at 8am to do a title transfer. I will be out of there in under 15 minutes total. I can be done easily if they tried or cared.

Last week I was in Orange County, Torrance & up to Buttonwillow then back to Scottsdale.

You may or may not notice it if you live there but CA is now a 3rd world country. The overwhelming majority of people you see on the roads don’t appear to be native English speakers let alone understand the signs directing them or have any motor skills.

This is what they voted for.

If the new owner registers it in a different state they really get f'd up since no new fees come in on that vehicle. I had a dirt bike i took to AZ and they hounded me for 3 years then took the money from my tax refund anyway.

They tried that with me after I sold a boat and trailer. Upon getting the third threatening letter I wrote back and told them my next letters were going to my State assemblyman and state senator. I never heard from them again.

If you move out of state, can you write up a bill of sale to yourself, showing your name and CA address as the seller and the buyer as your name and the new state address and then put that with a release of liability and mail the whole thing into the DMV (and retain copies)?
