Neither.....and the wife drives a seven year old Audi and it still costs a lot to register.

Here is an Arizona trick for registration though.

You register your car only in your wife's name, and her car only in your name. Arizona has spousal privilege. You get a photo ticket mailed to the registered owner of the car. You send a letter with a copy of the picture of your drivers license basically stating it is clearly not you.

Done, finished, dismissed.

I have a few friends that are vets in AZ and I guess registration is cheaper for them.

I guess they get what is called a plate credit, there's a few things you can get a credit for.

LOL Komifornia. Our son just moved there form CO. We are looking at re registering his vehicle to CA or AZ. What a joke to say the least. CA is just about 10x that of AZ. We are 90% sure that it would be best for the kid to register it in LA rather than at the MIL in Kingman becuase he could be hustled by the cops in LA.

I hope that he doesn’t like getting hosed in his butt so much that he gets light in his loafers. LOL

No shit!I have a2011 GMC. Renewal on reg is 360.00 and I have to pay another 70.00 ish for smog test.Another couple years and I'm retiring and going to havasu full time. Maybe sooner cuz California is out of control with taxes and fees for every fucking thing.This state could be great if the fucking governing tarts would learn to spend our tax dollars wisely but that ain't gonna happen.
