AZ auto rates are higher than CA. So all of you guys complaining about CA, should think twice if considering a move to AZ.
Arizona is gone, stick a fork in it, no reason to ever consider it anything different than California.

I just got a quote from progressive for my trucking business in California down about 25% from last year. I have 5 trucks and we had gotten increase the last 2 years.
I have not had time to examine the policy and find out why, other people in my business are quitting because of huge rate increases like 50% and more or just cancelled they are either 1 truck operations or trucking is not the primary business they are contractors that run 1 truck

Wawanessa was always pretty dang good for the perfect driver. I' believe they have been approved for 40%+ increases recently.

Costco used to beat them but its my understanding they are no longer writing in CA.

For anyone shopping insurance make sure you compare apples to apples for all coverages and annual mileage.

For anyone looking to knock the rate down a tad perhaps look at increasing the collision deductible.

I would not be reducing liability or UM coverage.
We got an increase but still cheaper than any we have found

With Progressive? Yes
Auto, boat, and motorcycle, 6 months and a year too.
For some reason the homes I can't do auto pay. Just annual payment

You guys absolutely will NOT like the prices of Florida insurance, if you were to directly compare it to the same coverage in California. You guy don’t know how good you have it!
Not sure what it is now, but when we changed residency from CA to FL the car insurance was about the same a CA. When we changed from FL to TN it cut our bill in half.

I can second that last couple years auto insurance in FL went sky high. Few years back I was paying $450.00 month for 3 cars, homeowner & hurricane coverage. 3 years later $600.00 a month for 2 cars with home insurance.
I just figure it was a way to recouple some Hurricane damage payouts. (USAA)

Thanks for the replies and allowing me to vent a little. My wife got online and juggled things a little before we paid out. Saved a little. It is what it is and nothing is changing in the next 6 months regardless.

However,,, This did really kick the idea of moving into gear. Started comparing bills and cost of living to elsewhere. Fuel costs are damn near half once you get out of this county as we're still spending $5-6. My middle son graduates next year and I've told my wife that's the time to move if we do. That gives me over a year to clean the ranch up and that's not a bad idea anyway.

Just got my renewals in the mail last night and I opened them this morning. Going from $1,164/month to $1,492/month. Fucking ridiculous.

No accidents, no tickets, nothing.

That looks like our 6 month rate, and why I drive a POS.

USAA payment plans are bi-weekly.
USAA here as well. Do you chose the bi-weekly or did they mandate it.
Don’t hold me to it. But I think ours is 5 months of payment per 6 month period. Then re set same deal. 🤷
