I got a texting ticket.

When you add up all the fees - including the $10 to pay online - it was over $150.

Guess who doesn't text while driving anymore?

After losing a friend to a texting driver, I say good. Don't do stupid shit while driving and you won't have to pay the fine.

I have to agree with OG. Best way to deal with this issue is don't do it, period. Problem solved.

I saw the tail end of a news story yesterday, and I think it said the Gov didn't sign this bill. Said the current fine is high enough for "Average Joe".

Actually the Governor Vetoed the bill thus killling it.

By not signing a bill, a bill will be come law after 30 days. This is the direction he might take with the whole Dream Act II bill in order to provide scholarships to illegal immigrants......avoid it and let it become law. :skull
