I know it has been posted in previous threads. I am kind of “search challenged”. Does anyone have a preferred go to site you did the course? I think I am a year late, but a new to me boat is coming and I want to spend some time in the delta this year. TIA

You would think. But I doubt more than 20% of boaters know the navigation rules and protocols for engaging other boats on the water. Go out on a random summer weekend and it'll prove my point.

I guess so.
I grew up boating the chain of lakes in IL, and had to get a boating license at 12 to operate my grandparents boat in WI during the summers.

That's great. My kid was 13 when he received his Texas Boater's card.
