This puts things in perspective. After reading the article about the new 500r Mercury outboard at 72-85k I think I would rather have a new c8 Corvette for around the same price!

This. Youโ€™d get way more enjoyment out of it .

Thatโ€™s what I tell people when we see 4 or 5 Mercs on the back of a nice boat.

Probably gets around 22MPG In the canyons,Mileage is amazing.
The other day. Cruise control on I40, touring mode.

As more of these get pumped out, everyone better get ready to accept that standard Vette depreciation.

They're awesome cars for the price as long as you're ok with value evaporating. The values never hold once the market is diluted.

Sorry not a Porsche guy so no. Like I said. JUST ABOUT everything you buy new depreciates the second you take ownership of it. Real Estate iโ€™d say is one of the few things that USUALLY increase in value.

I agree on JUST ABOUT everything new.
