Owners manual says 87 is fine. Says premium fuel rages from 87 +.
I had the owners man on my 2008 recommended premium but who knows but that’s pretty much what I ran it on based on the manual.
The 6.2 does NOT need 91? I was under the impression it did? (would love to know cause that could change my cost effective target from gas to e85 in the Escalade)

From reading it situational. Towing in hot weather sure 91/93.

Wife driving it like a grandma with kids. 87 is fine.

91 isn’t necessary unless it under real load. Thats what a knock sensor is for 😂

It was strange we looked at the Denali’s & cayenne’s. They are nice but don’t really do anything for her.

Did she drive the Cayenne? Can't believe she'd not recognize a difference.

I have not researched the H2, but on the H3 the sunroof drains are known for getting plugged up. There is a little rubber flap at the end of the drains hoses in the firewall. In the H3 you have to cut the rubber flap out to keep them from clogging.

You might want to check to see if the H2 has that issue? You will find info on the Hummer forums.

I have a 2009, I really like driving it but nothing pulls like the cummins. Predator Inc. in Hudson Florida does Duramax swaps everyday on H2s. Mine still has low miles and I have other trucks to pull with so I haven't taken my Hummer that route.

Against the firewall there is a small coolant hose, like a 3 way. Mine was leaking when I received it. And rear passenger power windows go out, easy 2 hour repair.

Nice 2008, but look at the rubber bumper ends, and newer license plate may have come from rust belt or?

It’s all in excellent condition that was one of the first things I checked because a couple of rust belts h2’s looked good on the outside, but look like shit underneath

Congrats brother! Super Clean!

On a side note the wife wanted to go to Kirkland Commons last Saturday and I was impressed with the car lineup there!

I need to cruise the Masi there next time. Was a cool spot!

We did. But she drives like old people fuck. Slow & pathetic.

She didn’t think it was worth the cost. I wasn’t going to argue. Paying that much to drive slow in a fast car. Hahahaha
Hey who you calling old gopher. Us old folks got bad heart's...LMAO

I’ve got new mats, two new GM key fobs & usb/lightning cigarette lighter replacement receptacles on the way already.

This thing has factory nav which we won’t use.

Trying to figure out which way to go on a new stereo head unit.

It has the rear back up cam in the rear view mirror. Was that a factory option?

Ours has the 3rd row. Two seats that fold up & come out completely
i guess it was something that changed in '08. The first gen only had a single 4rd row seat.

I just put a cheaper Dual in the wife's '07 Tahoe. I'm fairly impressed with it so far. Even has an option for a front camera and there are wiring kits that will adapt a new head unit to the factory equipment.

What the camera looks like will tell you if it's a factory camera or not. I doubt it is cause our '09 Escalade has a backup camera and uses the display in the stereo, not the mirror.

Yes on some trims on the H2 & H3 starting in 2008, I think? The back up camera pops out of the right side of the rear view mirrors. Kinda odd nowadays, but super cool I guess back then.

H2 had several editions, but basic best would be a 2008-2009, with Luxury package, and most had that.

Rolling down the street once and a yellow H2 happened to be coming down the same way. I slowed way down trying to see if he would come alongside me and I couldn’t get him to.

Kids loved this as all four of them could sit together across the back.

That's cuz they don't make enough power to catch up to a special needs kid on a tricycle

Bought mine 2 yrs ago instead of a razor and it stays in Havasu at the River House. Absolutely love it, pulls the boat to the ramp, and can drive to Flagstaff for winter with the grandkids. I did have to replace an o2 sensor which was easy.
