Bunker Bar - holy shitballs

We went up there to meet @Wendi & @Wmc figured we’d grab some food and beers and head back..

I knew it when we were pulling in and there was SXS’s parked all over the hills and down the sides of the main rd pulling in.. lol.

The drink line wrapped all the way past the where the food is ordered.. the food line went all the way over to the other food vendors etc..

I’d bet any of the lines was at least an hour long.

Yeah, it looks packed. We have been there a couple times in last month and nothing like what pics show here for this holiday weekend! Good for biz and family fun. However I will stick to other places less crowded on holiday weekends. And no line at my cooler!

Glad we didn't go there today , going there is not our cup of tea anyway . Did Spider , Dollar Cabin and took the scenic route back through Challenger . No beer lines or food lines all day and rolled up about 70 plus miles . Glad everyone was at Bunker Bar cause the trails south were awesome...

It’s cool to see there’s still fun new places to check out.
But all that going on isn’t my scene.
Some home made foil wrapped burritos strategically placed on an intake manifold or something and enjoying it in the solitude of the desert is.
To each their own
They can stand in line an hour, I’ll ride an hour away from all them.
We can eat about the same time

We went go bunker today. It was insane. Food was 2+ hours. Drink line was 30 min. We waited for drinks. About 4pm it thinned out enough that the drink line was 10 min

I'm in one of your pictures @RiverDave That place was packed. I have to give a positive review of the food vendor; it was surprisingly quick to get an order, and I think the food line was longer than the wait for the order. However, the beverage line was terrible.

My biggest complaint was people holding seats with no one sitting in them. We asked three groups with multiple empty chairs at their tables if we could join them to eat our lunch. (two of us) All turned us away. If you look closely, I'm sitting in the dirt under the drone wing against the fence, eating my burger.

I expected it to be packed, but that was over the top.
