You can always rent some seadoo's and go when the water is low, early morning. That way you can see the sand bars vs the high water line. Is the AVI beach open ? last time l drove by they still had a rope line across the entrance

Nope, I have XR's not NXT's so no more cleavers for me. Kind've a relief frankly LOL Our Top Gun had Cleavers on it. Always stressed about screwing them up.

dont like jack smith went one time but the crowd is better at another ramp. less worried about shit in my truck or bed( usually have something in the bed that i didnt need for the day. it weeds people out because it cost more to launch.
yes i left my trailer in a rv park in mohave valley.

Tank - Water is up. I shot straight out of the mouth of the river without doing the zig zag on Saturday.

The water changes every few hours. Watch the Davis dam releases and as long as you have 3+ units your good. Usually I launch from springs and head up river to Pirates. Want to change it up and go the other route. Is this possible? Shallow sections? How long would it take if cruising at 60?

Back bay near Big Bend park north of Avi is a cool place to hang out when the waters warm, we will be there early May with SoCalJetBoats. Lazy Harry's is a cool place to stop and grab a beer and burger also. Avi has a nice sandy beach in a cove out of the current, pic of my Sprint (blue and white one) with us hanging out at Avi

Needles Marina fuel dock to open April 1st, so they say.

Avi gas dock closed all last year due to covid. No info for this year, as of today.

Laughlin Bay Marina is still closed indefinitely. They had fuel at one point, years ago.

Most of Bullhead you can, we have our own private Marina at Palo Verde Meadows with enough water always. The only spot it get sketchy is up north of the gas line crossing closer to laughlin that can be mud at the docks at 1 unit
