Out to dinner the other night.
I order a Stella, buddy orders a Coors Light.
"We're out of Coors Light, We have Bud Light!!" I'm sure you do, he says.
Go through the list, he finally orders a Stella. (Yes, We know it's an AB bev product..)
Reviewing the ticket later, it says 2- Bud Lights!!!!!

Soooo, don't know how many sellers are ghosting the sales, but they may be off even more than they show.

Guess times have changed since the good ole days of the draft. 😁
Hell skinny nerd bedwetter we had in basic got sent home after his nightly soakings. I figured that would spawn an epidemic of everybody pissing in their bunks, but nope, we all held our piss and I'm sure some died for that act of courage.

And yet...

We celebrate those heroes for one day, and the lbgt_wtf_ever get a whole month?

This country is 110 percent broken.

It's a shame to think those guys died for this shit. 👎👎

I bet they wouldn’t have if they knew how this shit would turn. I know I wouldn’t lose my son or daughter knowing this is where we were headed.

I think they've lumped so many observances into each month, they've become rather meaningless. I believe this LGBT bullshit is getting far to much press than it deserves.
The only cause we served when asked to do so was this country, we didn't apply any conditions. I don't like this shit either, I scream at my TV nightly over a whole list of shit that I find maddening.

But it beats the bags of piss I had thrown at me in '71 in on riot duty in Washington DC. Now that's a sign of true appreciation from your fellow countrymen, and one lucky fucker tasted the butt of my M16 for his trouble.

Thankfully cell phones weren't a thing back then. 🥴
Then we went to war, yeah, rah rah rah --- LGBT observance month ain't shit buddy after you've headed off to fight after that loving send off.

Anyway -- I prefer to choose one of the alternate Observances being --- well observed I suppose this month. My point is, you don't make it a non-event by raising a huge stink about it, you ignore it, like I do all the other fucking meaningless observances and so long as somebody doesn't toss a bag of piss at me, I'm good. 😏;)

OK, I'm choosing to observe National Safety Month and try real hard not to fuck myself up. 😁

You're right, for me there's three this month or June, worthy of my observance and one, not worth mentioning -- but has unfortunately been given ALL of our attention.

Given my age, with the exception of Rap (Which I realize goes back over 40 years), I'm all onboard with African American Music Appreciation.
Their original influence in Gospel changed and entire industry and everything thereafter. But Wait --- Gospel Music Heritage Month isn't until September, oh crap this is getting confusing now.

Reggae which I enjoy in smaller doses, falls perhaps more under the another June Observance, Caribbean-American Heritage Month, and I know one thing about my visits to the islands mon, it's their unique style of music and their instruments I've always enjoyed.

But let us consider, that in May alone there were 18 such observances in the US. One of the notables being "National Military Appreciation Month" which is ended with the huge finale of a National Holiday dedicated to thinking of and remembering those many who've given it their all for us and this, I still think, Greatest Nation on this planet.

But it's easy to see that Bud Light and Target took the stage a month early and 'Mission, Misdirection' was a success because all of our participation and the resulting media coverage of our participation that ALLOWED it and guaranteed it's success.

What if, nobody had noticed, what if, nobody had started the fires of hate in the first place --- what if the fucking tree had fallen in the forest and nobody had heard it, or given it ANY attention ??? Cause and Effect, it's some times interesting to consider, just who are the puppets who think their not puppets ?

I'm just pissed I missed two of my favorites last month --- International Masturbation Month and everybody's favorite, Zombie Awareness Month. Of course seeing Zombies staring at those rectangular screens with white plugs in their ears has become a real "Ho-Hum, oh look there's another one" event.

Two places where affirmative action should NOT be taking place is the Operating room and the Cockpit.
I want the most qualified....
Cockpit was abandoned at Boeing, Airbus and many other manufacturers two decades ago.

It is now known as the “flight deck”. God only knows how many times I got a talking to for taking so long to change my vernacular.

Some people will find this surprising...

Study: Gender Surgery Leaves People Lonely And Depressed

Who would have guessed? A new study finds transgender surgeries don’t improve mental health, contrary to what transgender activists want you to believe. In fact, people are more depressed if they get these surgeries — double mastectomies for girls who think they’re boys and want flat chests, and genital “reconstruction” (mutilation) for boys and girls who want the genitalia of the opposite gender, and more.
The study is by the head of a gender surgery department. Author Dr. Marco Blessmann heads the department of plastic surgery at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf in Germany. We’re going to guess he wasn’t expecting to find out his surgeries make people more depressed and lonely. Maybe he should have done this study before performing all those surgeries. Just a thought.
Transgender activists scare parents. “Do you want a dead child or a trans child?” They tell parents their children will commit suicide if they don’t affirm their new gender identity with hormone treatments and surgery. This is a lie. By the way, American teens already get these surgeries, and at least 300,000 teens 13 to 17 identify as transgender.

So they can't fix their depression 🤔
