After a 5 year wait and one of the toughest hunts I have been on finally got this bad boy home. 10 days in the Kodiak bush 8 days of rain and a 300 yard shot after the guide told us to prepare for 20-30 yrd shots the 338 lapua dumped him in his tracks , and thanks to Clay at Mogollon Taxidermy for a well done piece of artistry

They're working for me now, didn't before!!!. At 300 yd's, I guess it wasn't self defense. Nice animal a sounds like good hunt for a young guy.
