Sorry if I offended anyone but I did say Jungle (take it as you like). The definition of (Jungle in life) is; a harsh or dangerous place or situation in which people struggle to survive or succeed. I think that is a 100% accurate noun for E. St. Louis and St. Louis proper.

There should be no reason to apologize . You spoke your mind👍🏻

The video started when it did... The problem started before the video started.... Anyone thinking she squared up and that's what happened, FU. That girl was most likely targeted and then they started filming after the fact. No chance for her at all.

Watch the video again. Kaylee wasn't cornered and she wasn't trying to get away. She went in and threw fists just like the other girl did.

But yeah. F me if it makes you feel better. When you make your case so eloquently, who could argue with ya? 🙄

So does this mean you're going to delete all of the animal posts as well because we all know what exactly that means? How do all of your black friends feel about being called animals? Once you reach out to them, post up their feelings as I'm really curious if they see a difference.

Aaahhh yes.. the well what about the other posts defense. Quite familiar with it.

Here’s your answer.. sick as shit been in bed last two days and haven’t read all the posts. I saw yours.

When i get a chance I’ll scroll through and read them. That said people acting like animals can be any race.. calling them chimps tends to designate one race. So I guess I’d have to read it in the context it was written.

We are being manipulated by our government and the press, racism died with my parents generation. I don’t know any people that are racist and I’m sure most on RDP don’t as well. They are working hard to keep it alive so they can keep plundering our tax dollars, nothing more than simple greed.

Who exactly is “they”?
In what way does some homeboy knocking out an elderly white woman just for fun and you tube hits put my tax dollars in a politicians pocket?
Who profits from my federal withholdings when some “African American” jumps a white dude on the subway?
Racism by policy may have died with your grandparents, but it’s astonishingly naive to say racism is dead.
That’s basically the white mantra of condescension.

Blacks are told 24/7 that whitey is the enemy, the source of all their problems.
Fuck that.
There are more white girls in sexual servitude in this country today than the total number of black slaves EVER to be owned pre abolition. (thanks to whore mongers…a topic celebrated on RDP these days…)
The black guys I know will kick your ass in 2 seconds if you play that “we are all equal” card. It’s the most self serving condescending shit that a white man can say.

The racism isn’t from most whites. True white racists stay hidden by necessity.
The open racism today is against whites…from all sides not just blacks.
Us whites are the root of all worldly evil…according to the memo…and maybe we are. Thank god for the 2nd.
You guys can deny it and preach that Kumbaya shit all you want, it’s not reality.

If you doubt it I invite you to set up your soap box in any part of Cleveland Ohio or Baltimore Maryland and see how long you last.

You are making my point by saying whites are the root of all evil, that is not real, it's fed to people by the press and govt. Minorities have been manipulated into believing they are held down by whites and believe it as gospel, it's intentional. You are right, I wouldn't last long in the hood with this theory for sure. Is it because the people who live there have been held down by whites, or told they've been held down? Racism is part of the human experience, we all think we are better than others- RDP vs. River Whips, my school vs. your school , my state vs. your state. Racial tensions are used to manipulate our behavior, it's now worse than ever because it keeps us from uniting and taking our county back from the criminals currently in charge.

It seems to be something in the youth or the schools...something bringing back the racism. So, yes, somehow government or political, but no just "Obama" or Floyd...

I live in a less populated area than most of you. I surely saw more blatant racism in the LA area. Here, the over 30 crowd doesn't care what color anyone is. This seems to be true from the cowboys to the shop mechanics and trades guys...they all just want to work and live.

The obvious race issues are very apparent in the middle and high schools. These are the kids of the same people that DGAF. The kids though, some of them are little wannabe thugs...when out of sight of their parents. Some of them will notably have a bit of fear, when you call them by name, and ask them how their parents are doing. These little bastards are trying to fit in, but know it's wrong. I think here it is different because there is more of a chance someone knows someone. In bigger cities, anonymity is a shield, and "crewing up" gives you notoriety. Kids want to be "someone", even if it means being one of a larger group.

Honestly I've been wondering if getting a set of rings or brass knuckles might be worth having on a person in today's climate.

Tazer. More effective "instantly" but no permanent damage. Just immediately defuse the situaton. (or mace spray)
I bought 1 for each, my daughter & DIL.

You know when I moved my family to Utah and enrolled my son in one of the best school systems in the state the only negative mark for this area was "diversity".

As someone that grew up in an extremely diverse location and as someone that calls people with every skin color under the sun great friends I have to say I'm ok with where i now live with the current state of America.

This country doesent have a Race issue as much as it has a severe Social Economic issue and its only getting worse thanks to the politicians and media. You grow up in some of these areas or states and are several generations into poverty you are screwed unless you can run, dribble , rap or are a complete outlier and kick ass in school. These kids are stuck and have no role models or choice but to get caught up in the lifestyle. (regardless of race)

Sad

Let’s all hope this poor black civilized girl can be reformed. She had a bright future ahead of her with a scholarship to Harvard.

There are indications the family will soon announce Kaylee will not survive her injuries.
I can't imagine the pain of the parents, nor do I want to. Hopefully whatever happens is the best for the girl. Not being who, or what you were, could be a worse punishment for her...I don't know.

Personally, I'd prefer to be a memory, than a shadow of what I was. We don't make that choice though 😔

Then it’s direct to public firing squad! There is no innocence, the video is rock solid fact. Bye Felicia! Instead we’ll piss away millions on a case that needs nothing. It’s “innocent until proven guilty”….. there is no refuting this, you’re done!

I 100% agree with this. These intercity kids have no chance to see outside of their immediate neighborhoods in most cases. I really commend the efforts made by Tiger Woods with his golf camps. Some of the interviews bring tears to your eyes when you hear that a 15 year old has never eaten a bite of steak or seen a shrimp. Its a real eye opener that gives them future hope. If we "the people" had not given our employees so much authority to use against us, our kids would still be give pledge to the flag and would be hearing about basic christian actions and beliefs to create a moral compass of their own. Now they get the T.V. and lack of parental guidance to steer them. Charlie Daniels pegged it with this song a long time ago.

"“In August of 2021, it was announced that the school was requiring the uniformed police officers who were in the schools to take the school district’s DEI training and the police agencies refused. They declined to do so. So, the schools booted them off campus,” Bailey alleged."

Where is that POS anyways?? 🤬
The problem is she went to the ground with her and continued the beating, that makes her no long the victim, bullying or not.

For the record my son is dealing an extreme case of bullying right now, he is being told he sucks at everything, nobody likes him and he should kill himself. He got to the point where he started to believe it and started downhill fast before he cracked and told us what was going on. I knew something was going on fir a couple weeks but he wouldn't talk about it when I asked what was going on. Thursday was the breakdown day where he gave up on himself. Today he threw a personal best in shot put, and took 3rd, he doesn't suck, most of these kids don't do any sports and have no clue what he is capable of.

School resource officer is involved
My Gabby went real quiet and was off last year, I suspected she tangled with a girl like this thread is about. She has heart but she's a small girl, suddenly she wasn't friends with some of her regulars anymore and became very insular.
Real sorry about your Kid, hope it gets resolved.

This is a result of a really shitty football coach and his kid. The kid keeps sending his buddies to fight my kid but they end up with a black eye, I figure they are done doing that and found a weakness.

To add: Last season we went to a new team and what a difference in coaching, my son still struggled last season because of how bad the last coach beat down his confidence

I’d curb stomp anyone that hurt my dog let alone my daughter or family.

I hope I never have to deal with a situation like this because if I do
It's hard to sit back and have to play by the rules. 25 years ago the bully would have a bloody nose and a matching fat lip, 1 week suspension for each and no more issues. Got to remember, you can't protect them from jail, but I get what you are saying.

I won’t say in public. I’ve had a great life, love & loved. Great friends! Accomplishments. If I can right a wrong done to my family then so be it. I hope I don’t have to cash that check but I’m mentally prepared to do so if the bell tolls. I’m down

It's a difficult subject, for both adults and kids. Most of us grew up in a time when things were different. The thing is, the parents that are not usually much younger than us, seem to have some problem children. I don't know what happened.

I have one boy that has been "bullied", and one that has gotten into trouble for standing up for those being bullied. Unfortunately, he's a lot like me...I had a couple suspensions in high school for lighting guys up that picked on people. In a way, not much better. At least with me it was an even (or so) match up. I'd start with a verbal smackdown, and try to get them to see how it felt. If they squared up, so be it. My younger son has, in the recent past, issued one warning

My older son just took the abuse. No one ever stepped in, including teachers. All but one, really. He had a teacher that tried to help a lot last year. It isn't the same world. It used to be all teachers cared about all students. Same with coaches. They may not have played every kid, and may have picked on kids, but it was usually to motivate them. A lot of them are just assholes now. Don't get me wrong, I'm an asshole, but not to kids that are trying. Same with their parents. If they are trying, I'll help how I can.

Fuck with the bull get the horns.

Words I’ve always lived by.

I have an extremely short temper when it comes to messing with my family. I avoid being put in a situation at all costs. Zero tolerance is about the best way I can describe it. I’ll take it as far as I have to.

I definitely get where you're coming from. In my past I've proven quite capable for both good and bad reasons. I surely know what I was able to do then, and also know that now I'm much more capable. The risks are much higher though, and I'd never wish for my family to be called to bear witness.

That is really not the ultimate problem when it comes to it. No matter how good your line of communication is with your children, they are their own humans. We do not know what they think, how they think, or, probably most importantly, how they feel or interpret things. In all too many cases, parents find out the depth of the problems too late. My one son has health conditions that made him a target to some. I didn't know it had been an issue for some time. 4.0 GPA, college courses as a sophomore...and then it crashed down. He graduated this December with a decent GPA, but did it to get out of that environment. As a father I'm proud he finished that chapter. As a father, I feel horrible I didn't know what he was going through.

Now, he's trying to learn to deal with people again, learning to trust. Once again, I feel horrible, because I'm not much help. I tend to think people suck too.

It looks like the young teen is alive and starting her recovery...

A Missouri teenager who was brutally beaten in what officials called a "deranged display of violence" by another teen is out of the intensive care unit but has limited speech and trouble walking on her own, an attorney for the family said.

Kaylee Gain has been hospitalized since a March 8 fight near Hazelwood East High School in St. Louis County that was captured in a viral social media video.

The footage shows several people brawling in the street near the intersection of Norgate and Claudine drives, the St. Louis County Police Department said in a March 11 Facebook post.

Kaylee Gain.Courtesy Bryan Kaemmerer
One person is seen repeatedly punching Gain and slamming her head to the ground. A 15-year-old girl was arrested on assault charges a day after the fight, authorities said.

Police said the victim was found "suffering a severe head injury" and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

In an update Friday, an attorney for Gain's family said she was out of the intensive care unit and "has been able to engage in limited verbal conversation

"Kaylee also recently began speech therapy, and has gone on a few short walks with the assistance of hospital staff as she is still unable to ambulate on her own," attorney Bryan Kaemmerer said. "However, Kaylee does not have any recollection of the altercation that led to her hospitalization."

Kaemmerer addressed several social media rumors about the altercation, denying reports that Gain's mother drove her to the location of the fight.

He said Gain's mother was at work and was driven to the hospital by a co-worker after police informed her of what happened.

The attorney, however, did confirm reports that Gain had been involved in a fight on March 7 with a different teenager. Both girls were suspended after that incident, Kaemmerer said.

He said it was unclear whether the March 8 brawl was retaliation.

Gain's parents are calling for the 15-year-old to be tried as an adult. Kaemmerer said in his statement that "the family believes trying the accused as an adult is the most appropriate way to provide the justice that Kaylee deserves."

Authorities have not said if the 15-year-old would be tried as an adult.

St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell said in a post on X that the fight was "sickening" and the video was "difficult to watch."

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey called the actions in the video a "deranged display of violence that must be punished to the full extent of the law."

On Thursday, police announced that eight more teenagers were referred to St. Louis County Family Court for consideration of assault charges, NBC affiliate KSDK of St. Louis reported. They include a 17-year-old girl, a 17-year-old boy, two 16-year-old girls, three 16-year-old boys, and one 14-year-old girl. None of the teens have been taken into custody.

The human body is amazing, especially that of the young. It may be a slow recovery, and it may not be complete, but it is far beyond where she was.

During our last big snow day, there were many accidents. The schools got hammered for not calling it, it was a cluster fk of massive proportion. Cars were sliding everywhere. One of my son's friends was riding his bike to school, and was struck by a sliding truck. He was airlifted to a trauma center in Phoenix. Broken ribs, femur and skull fracture. He was in a medical induced coma, brain bleed and surgery to relieve pressure. This was 6 or so weeks ago, he is 15.

Last week he was back at school. On crutches, and wearing a bandana. My son says the scar on his head looks like they cut a square out, and he's lost weight. His speech is a little "different", but his spirits are high.

Humans are truly amazing creatures. We can only hope and pray for this young girl to share the same type of blessings.
