This is what bothered me most... from the recording to post on social media by the "fellow students", to the people passing by, they seem devoid of any duty, responsibility or "honor". It did look like the driver of one car pulled around and stopped, but one person against a pack of wild animals will have a hell of a time.

Very sad state of affairs. This video doesn't look any different than Haiti or South Africa...

Whenever I see videos like this I can't help but wonder how do teachers do it?

The good ones quit, the young ones that want to make a difference get pummeled by administration and then you get what's left. The young ones have it rough if they're good, it's really sad to see. They try, as do the older ones, but it's almost impossible to make gains with some students and parents being how they are as well.

My wife just bowed out after 23 years. Society's decline was not the reason (she's as stubborn as me), but it definitely helped ease the decision.

My Niece was jumped this year in very similar situation. Thank God some people broke it up. Was after a HS football game. No arrests , No suspensions and LASD didn't do squat. Everyone was an afraid of a race issue if they charged the criminal. You would think a Private Christian high school would be a little better than a public one but Nope.

Teachers don't do crap anymore...these classrooms are almost psycho wards with children that have not been disciplined. Schools now only care about days students attend. That's it! My 11 year old in 6th grade talks about kids screaming and yelling throughout class and the teachers just avoid it. This became an issue with me last week. You would think that if a child can't be present and calm for a period and is only disrupting the whole class, that child should be sent home. Nope!

Are my eyes deceiving me, or are there black kids fighting black kids in that video? If so, it seems this wasn’t entirely a racial conflict, though I’d assume the black girl slamming the white girl’s head on the pavement probably thought it was. I say we prosecute her as an adult, mourn the victim if she doesn’t make it, sue the school district for pulling the police resource officers, fire the responsible administrators, and move on.

The only hard part will be moving on from mourning that poor girl. I can’t begin to imagine her parents’ grief. If she survives, I’m sure she’ll never be the same.
