His name was Marlin Perkins ... that was a great show. My parents would gather us up n make us watch it n yes it was on just before Disney which was our treat for watching it

Marlin's buddy, Jim was a trip. I recall in one show he jumped into a deep Cenote after seeing some rare snake swimming across it. With complete abandum, leaps from the edge, lands smack on top of the snake, disappears below the water, then emerges proclaiming in wild excitement, "I Got It", --- whelp, he got it alrighty, the question was, whom got whom exactly, because the snake was now firmly latched onto Jim's wrist, with blood streaming down his arm.
