my nephew is a sheriff in small town in Utah.

He was called out to a similar situation.

Kid was out of control. Mother broke down crying in front of my nephew.

He let her off with a warning... then proceeded to inform her in front of her children that if she EVER needed to discipline the children.. to call him personally.
He will come over and supervise the discipline.
True STORY

Not one to wear shorts much...but usually have a Leatherman on my belt, a mag mini screwdriver in a pocket (SnapOn guy has given me a bunch) and a knife clipped on my front right pocket...kind of like a tweaker MacGyver!
