The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency reports:
Fourteen-year-old Sawyer Hale of Crossville recently landed a 44-pound Blue Catfish from his Nana's dock in Cumberland County.
Sawyer caught the big cat on cut Bluegill in about 20 feet of water after a 15-minute fight.
Congratulations Sawyer on a great catch.
