Did the key thing many times, a childish prank that never grew old.Our first remote was for a Sony. Inside the plastic case were various length steel bars and when you pressed the associated button, it would "Click" and a tiny hammer would strike the bar. The tone emitted, although out of our hearing range, would cause the tv to switch channels or volume to vary. We discovered by accident, that jingling your keys could cause the Tv to act randomly similar.
I surely do miss my old diesels....posts like this make me want to roll coal, and my tucks were all pretty mild.
