They did the same thing to Lockheed in BurbankDuring WWII, this Boeing factory in Seattle was covered by a fake town, complete with lawns, houses, cars, signs and sidewalks. When viewed from the air, its almost impossible to tell there is a factory underneath.

No, studor vent/castleShouldn't their be a trap on the vent so sewer gas doesn't come up?
McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach did the same too, I think all the plans did? My mom can remember when they moved into the first neighborhood built in Lakewood in '47, it was actually Bellflower at the time but that little 4 block area became lakewood in '52, and there were still buildings left on the roofs, a gas station, some cars, stuff like that. Most plants went so far as to hire students from the local JC and pay them to walk around.During WWII, this Boeing factory in Seattle was covered by a fake town, complete with lawns, houses, cars, signs and sidewalks. The Hughes Aircraft Company plant in Culver City only blacked out their buildings. Always kind of surprised to see that knowing how security conscious and detailed Mr. Hughes was.McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach did the same too, I think all the plans did?
