Ol' Marlin would be standing near a brush clearing and send Jim in to check on the pride of Lions or into the water to check for Alligators.

Marlin would be giving narration while Jim is getting his ass torn off.

Loved his shows, but who was the big fucker that was Perkin's side-kick ? The one who's idea of catching some critter was to Yell "Caught it" and pop up with the damned thing having bit him and/or is now hanging off him like a damned Christmas ornament.

Jim or Big Jim ? I'll never forget the one episode down in the jungles of Belize or some other Yucatan area and they were peering over one of those huge cenotes (Sink holes) when Jim (?) spots some rare snake swimming across it and dives in after it.
Disappears under the water, then pops up screaming he's got it and he's got it all right, dangling off his arm after having bitten him and not releasing it's bite.

He was one crazy dude.
Programming today sucks balls by comparison.
