Every gearhead has a bucket of bolts.
I try to separate by size(ish) into coffee cans. That way I can dump on a rag, easier to put them back.Every gearhead has a bucket of bolts.

I prefer to get upset when I can't find what I know I have and then throw them all over the garage

This is what I do. It only took me about 15 years to figure it out.I try to separate by size(ish) into coffee cans. That way I can dump on a rag, easier to put them back.

It proves the multiverse where objects travel in and out of our universe. Kids favorite toys do the same thing.
I'm just wondering what magical entity is hiding all the nuts, bolts and screws I've dropped on the floor over the years --- I hear them land, then they disappear ---- more than likely just cloaked, like that wrench or part I place on my bench, turn away, look back and it's just gone, then after an hour of searching everywhere I know I didn't put it, it's back again. And my wife wonders who I'm talking to when working alone --- THEM, that's WHO
That had to fukn hurt

Oh, you mean the small parts trays? Use those for small carbs, like quads and VW's...The midsize aluminum trays from the back are good for 4 barrel stuff. Need the fulsize from a commercial bakery if doing valve bodies...keep the springs and check balls from hitting the groundDon't you have an In-N-Out near you?
That's what these are for...
