If we could just jail Trump, get rid of MAGA, end the Electoral College, stack the Supreme Court, ban voter ID, and censor free speech, we could save democracy. That statement is becoming true more and more everyday.

That would require a Constitutional Amendment. There is only two ways to do that.

Article V of the Constitution itself establishes the two ways in which it may be amended:

"The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate."

I'm fairly certain that the vast majority of American Citizens who had civics in grade school understand that Congress cannot abolish the Electoral College.

If it wasn't so sad that people believe Congress can do this, it would be funny.

I'm old enough to remember that if you didn't pass civics you didn't graduate. period. I doubt that's the case anymore.

Weren’t you involved with a school board presiding over this marked decline?

Yes, the decline in educational expectations and outcomes across America is completely and solely my fault. 🥴

No, you don't have that influence. You are just another enabling cog in the failed wheel.

You are part of the system, but the poor outcomes you claim to be completely beyond your control, so you just nod and follow along, right?

Just like the people you support politically.
