In HB, Costa Mexico area...

Great Mex CM or Newport
Hanks in CM on Baker.
Jim’s in CM on Placentia across fro Tiki Bar.

Miss the TK on 19th. They had great breakfast burritos! Used to walk my dog down there all the time.

I used to hit Alejandros all the time after the Detroit Bar now Wayfayer.

I live in Chino Hills now, my local spot is Primos.

If you’re ever in Yorba Linda, go to Apollo grill and get the Greek breakfast burrito with beef and lamb. The bomb!

They do good breakfast.
Some of the other stuff is starting to slip though. The last few times we’ve been there lunch or dinner, have been disappointing.
If you get a chance, the Patio on Central and just north of Schaefer, is pretty good.
I’ll have to check it out. Chino cafe is pretty good for breakfast I don’t usually go to brave for anything except the bb

I always tell people if your looking for decent grub and good portions watch where the cops go. 👍
When i'm in an unfamiliar place i'll ask them for a recommendation, its a 50/50 shot....most say they are not allowed to recommend a place anymore.
After May, 2020 (BLM), I never eat where I can’t see food being made for me, I will recommend places that were good prior to that with said warning.
Sign of the times, a lot of people don’t realize the hate on the streets of LA .

Thats really sad...unfortunately when the saying "You reap what you sow" comes into play the damage is already done.

The idea that someone would mess with a strangers food is about as low as it gets.

Tommies Castaic cafe. Might be a little biased due to location to me. But never disappoints. I also wish Burbank auto (yes an auto store [emoji33]) on Victory Blvd didn’t become a NAPA. They used to smoke all the meats and sausages and made to me, hands down the best breakfast burrito I ever had.

You mean Semays (I think that's how it was spelled). They were the BEST auto parts store. The old man in there knew every damn number to ever car there was I believe.

Anyone got a half decent breakfast burrito in upper south county? Lake Forest has some good Mexican places but I haven't found a good breakfast burrito.

I prefer Jimmy Deans BB’s OG in Newhall. I’m sure the one off the 5 is good too.

Pasadena: Lucky Boy Burrito

La Crescenta/Santa Clarita(I think there is another location somewhere?: Everest Burgers. Pastrami or Chili or BOTH

Santa Clarita/Newhall: Jimmy Deans

Add chili on all three

In LHC, another vote for T’s and Treats. Been there 3 times, first on RD’s advice. Every time it’s been good. They’re in the Safeway Plaza.

Yup. Right next to my Alma Mater. Martinos was a couple doors down after the early 00's to late 90's. Semays actually relocated over to Victory and Chandler and became Burbank auto parts.

Sancho's Tacos, best name out there. Old buddy of mine literally lives a stones throw from there. Now here's a message for Sancho...

Way way way back in the day...
When I was in the Navy... A Roach Coach would show up in front of the 32nd St Navy Base in San Diego.

Seriously long line... Navy Guys, Shipworks guys... I have no clue how that one truck pushed out a couple hundred breakfast burritos as fast As they did... but damn...they where worth standing in that line...

Another honorable mention... which is now closed... Santanas on Rosecrans in San Diego.. ohh mann... so good..

I make a mighty fine breakfast burrito...

You assholes, have me jonesing pretty bad right now...

EL ranchito in lake Elsinore. I’ve had many breakfast burritos and it’s by far the best. Make sure you get lots of their red hot sauce
