Saw the ad last night on Speed Chanel. Has a brake lever on the left hand. Not sure how it works. Hopefully this will cut down on some of the accidents. But then again, you cant stop stupidity........

Great. Now the lake lice are gonna head towards us full speed and wait until the last minute to brake really hard before running into us....:loser::D:p

It's one of 2 things. Either a quick release drop of the reverse chingas or maybe there is some kind of blade thing that drops down in front of the intake strakes. Either way seems like it's gonna get real interesting on the water

Saw this at the boat show last year. All it does is instantly throw it in reverse

HOLY $HIT, $16,500 for a Sea Doo?

We checked them out. If you're in the market worth a closer look.

The newest 2010 (11?) has 260 HP and closed system cooling and 2" of suspension travel too. The suspension works,, but,,,, either you love it or it's so hokey looking you just can't cut the check.

Also, the seat has a hinge and stays attached (won't blow off on the highway), and it has a GPS Speedo, and idle start no matter what position the throttle is in.

They are loaded with all kinds of cool gadgets and devices.

The brake is a much need device, but I wouldn't rely on it.
Safe riding is the best thing, perhaps it may give false confidence to some riders,, damfino, we'll see.
They really are more fun and far safer in the ocean IMHO.
Lot's of surfers on the board, I know of none that fear, nor have ever feared or sweated sharks.

What we're told is the price is murdering sales.
When on sale, you can almost get the two Honda PWC's on a trailer OTD for the same price as the Sea Doo. We're hearing families love that idea much better. - We're told.

What ever happened to Kawasaki????

I cant see that being very good on the engine/ drive/ jet over time. Seems like a lot of stress on parts to do that at full speed. It did look like that was the case on the commercial. A lot of white water off the front at the pull of the lever. Either way I hope they all sink.......

Kawi has a nice supercharged 260HP version. But it sucks the fuel down pretty fast.

Yamaha has an 1800cc supercharged 4 cylinder motor as well. It is a work of art, technically speaking.

I don't own any of these things but have ridden them. I don't like how big they are but you have to appreciate the technology that goes into them. The little 4 bangers are VERY trick.

Air horn rides in the drivers cup holder on our boat... We go through two cans a summer. Lake roaches love to watch you throw inverts as they ride 100 yards behind your wake.

He said Sea-Doo invented the "reverse bucket" for jet drives in 1990 - really?

I guess Berkeley copied it. :lmao

A brake lever?

Most PWC riders cant figure out how to turn without looking before hand.

How in the hell are they going to apply a brake?

I truly hate those things. More and More are showing up and they are just everywhere.
