It's actually Palm Springs.

Nice car, I love my BMW. You may be a fan yourself after a while.

We've had our 330i for almost 9 years now. It has around 170,000 on it and still purrs like a kitten.

So excited to post a LAM that you don't stop to think what a person can do with your vin#?????? Nothing like giving out personal information on the world wide web! Am I the only one that thinks this is plain assedine other than that its not a bad car

Vin #'s are listed all over the place. It's how we can run a carfax without making a phone call. Dealerships list them all the time. Wouldn't be similar to someone seeing your license plate? lol

What can they do with a vin? The best they can do is get a key fob for it but it would still need to be programmed.

BTW - anybody can see your vin by walking up to it in a parking lot.

Not mine! I learned this like 9 years ago which started in Cali. I put a business card over the vin # so you can't read it. Peeps were calling tow company's and having them tow the vehicles to locations to chop them. They would use vin # as proof they were owners and usually had owners names to go with it. Hell they can resale the car with that much info
