I’ve been here my whole life, and if i can’t do it, it leaves town. And that’s for everything. In no specific order Speed of Sound, Ron’s or Wired for Sound all in Havasu.
What are you looking to do, I’m always done for a side job.

What are you looking to do? You may want to throw a budget out there because those shops can spend $10,000 or more really quickly. Stereo is about the easiest thing to do on a boat and if you have a little extra time, it can be fun.

Man, I would just start ordering the speakers, amps and head unit and we can walk you through the process. If the wire is still good, it would be very easy. If the wire needs to be replaced, it's still not that bad. I've been bummed every time I had someone else do a stereo for me. They sell you on big dreams and then when you pick it up, it's not even tuned properly.

Are you just replacing the stereo itself or everything? Its pretty easy to do yourself if you are just replacing existing components with similar ones.

I recommend the Kenwood Excelon or a decent Alpine. If you want to be cheap, I have bought the Alpine 73BT for a couple projects and they work fine. I literally bought one for $50 that was new on Ebay and another from Facebook Marketplace for like $70. They come up for sale everywhere. You can change one out in a boat in about 15 minutes.

I called them they can't even look at it till may the mobile 928 guy is going to take care of it thanks everyone
Best of luck Chris. I went in and had a conversation off season and willing to shell out the $$$ with desire to change out and make a nice system. Had a few ideas as I didn’t want to just change speakers and head unit. Wanted amps and controls. No lights just a solid system not really worried about the price tag. I came away with such a deflated feeling. I hope that you find the right shop/guy that can make your vision come through. I hope that we are able to connect this year with you and Debbie. 👍

Never saw you as a disco light guy. 😂

Wet Sounds makes some great equipment. Had their tower speaker on the Nautique and then wired it up in the Magic. (On a 10’ cord) It stayed in storage until I needed to “hear” my music on the beach. 😬. Was as loud and clear as you’d ever need.

I am hesitant to say but I went to Wired for Sound. I don’t want to bash them as they didn’t do me wrong just didn’t leave with the excitement that I came in with. Perhaps I caught the guy on a bad day. Maybe it was our 210 or me wanting to push the limits. I didn’t want it over the top just reconfiguring a bit after seeing the new 210 at Halletts at Havasu a couple of years ago. Thanks @Hammer LOL. Wanted everything replaced with new head unit, controller mounted remotely, more speakers in new locations and a sub woofer. They wanted to just use old wiring with replacing speaker and head uniT. One of these winters when I am in Havasu for an extended amount of time I am going to do it myself or find the right guy.. 👍

I’d hit up speed of sound if you don’t mind waiting to have it done by the best in havasu.

I’d go Fusion for the simplicity and fact their app makes that you never have to go back in boat while beached.
X2 on fusion, no more cutting holes for remote wires.

Jp at Adreniline audio sold and installed my fusion head unit, replaced 3 pairs of mids fosgate. He tied into my courtesy lights in my conquest for the speakers light set in blue. Changed out courtesy lights in blue and new covers free, tested my older amps and gave them two thumbs up. He easily could have sold me at least one new amp based on age, but he said it’s still sounding great and working fine. He definitely earned my business and this long message

Although Wired for Sound did a nice job on our 255. My son and I redid our 210 oursleves. new everything. wires, breaker, head uniit, amp, speakers and wired remote at the helm. Its not too bad, easy access most everywhere. wet sounds head unit and remote. for remote I removed the speedo. JL audio 4 channel amp. Jl audio 6x9's under rear bench. Jl audio 7.7's in original bow location. great bass even without a sub as the amp has cross over settings. As we are not pros, it took us about 8 hours total

Love to see images of the products that you selected and where they are installed. I can’t recall as it was two years ago but I think one of the of the hurdles was that I wanted to put a 8” speaker under the rear seat. This was to replace the 6x9 that are there as stock. Want to put a sub under near the feet of the passenger. To replace the CD changer. Yes you read that right!!! CD Changer. 😁
