25 foot boat transfer from NJ to Ca, has anyone done this far. Uship is quoting 3.5k. Anythoughts?

Is it on a trailer? Find someone making the drive and pay for their gas.

Up to 28' everyone on S&F uses Frank Mole Transport 516-799-0623. I have heard nothing but great comments.

I have used Frank and it was painless. I have also had a boat pulled cross country from LA and one from Havasu and $3500 is more then you need to pay if you are not in a rush and can find an open return slot. Just as a data point I had a car shipped from Portland to NYC last week and it was $850.

Uship is never that high just set a price and you will get it done for that shipped from Florida to Texas $350 and from Oregon to Texas $450 and that was a 20 foot Sleekcraft. I have never paid more than $575 for Uship in the continental US.

I just sent a message to a buddy that has a possible haul from LHC to GA. Might save him from dead-heading, and save you both a couple bucks.
I did a deal about 2 yrs ago getting a trailer from Miami to Vegas, and a boat from HB to Tucson and doing the swap to complete the transit.
Worked out well for all involved.
