Looking at the direction the smoke is traveling, I'm guessing they bailed out of the burning boat and it drifted against the buoy line. Hope all were OK.

Hey, didn't I take that pic on Sat? Thank God the dam wasn't blown up because Wheeler and I were just below the dam in my boat.......and it was very congested w/ boat floaters. Thanks Wheeler for letting me hang w/ you. Can you send me the pic I took of my truck and boat?

A jet boat I was riding in did this when I was a kid (about 9 years old). It took a few times, but it put the fire out and swamped the boat. We hooked to the bow eye and towed it to the ramp.

For me, being a kid, it was pretty scary. I kept thinking the boat was going to explode....it didn't.
