Boat down - Parker

Boat went down right by the rock island yesterday I believe. Buddy saw it happen from his house and jumped in his boat to pull all 6 occupants out. Apparently they couldn’t get the boat started and hit the buoy. Guess it happened real quick. They just pulled it out 40 mins ago.

Glad they got out safe. Definitely a bummer. Sounds like the boat captain didn’t have any good help on board. We saw a similar deal in a ski boat heading into the gorge. Buoy chain wrapped around the prop. Boat spun backwards with water rushing up the back. Higher freeboard was keeping them out of immediate danger.

Glow sticks are only included in the Level 2 night course, of course, everything is included in the Level 2 night course.

Seen same thing happen, they were skiing, rope wrapped around bouy and current pulled back of boat down it sunk in 20 seconds.

Just curious as to what caused it to go down from hitting bouy while floating?did it get caught up against it which caused it to flood
