I'm not sure if some of the other people who got one of the Sportin' Woods puppies made it over here from the other site. If so post pic's of your puppy. Here are pic's of my pooch "Sienna". All pic's of dogs are welcome, so post away.

Thanks for starting the thread. It's nice to see them happy. All of the dogs went to hotboaters except for two who sold to friends of hotboaters.

Yes, Cooper is her brother, the only boy of the chocolates! My husband posted 20 lbs...he can't remember numbers to save his life...hee hee...Cooper was 24.5 lbs last week...a solid pooch!
I have him sitting, shaking paw, laying down on comand...with cookies of course...These dogs are so smart! Cooper fell in the pool at 6 weeks at 4am...still dark oustside...he seems to be afraid of the big bad pool, I hope it doesn't taumatize him!
Sienna looks good!!

Very cool, big boy. Sienna also sits, shakes and lays on command. Right now we are working on "Bnag" or playing dead. I figured we won't teach the speak command until much later, there will be plenty of time for that. Sorry to here about the pool i hope he'll get over it.

Nice shot Riverkid. Bird dogs rule.

Here's one of my pups that I gave our guide in South Dakota. Like her pop, she is a natural.

Just joined because we are tired of waiting around for hotboat to get back up.

Here's Satine when we picked her out even before the 6 weeks coming home day:

satine-1.jpg

This is Satine at 6 weeks coming home!

satine-2.jpg

And this is Satine about a little over a week ago:

satine-3.jpg

Last weigh-in she was 17Lbs but that was 3 weeks ago. Guessing she is around 22-23lbs now atleast. She was diagnosed with Crystals in her urine ( just noticed her squatting multiple times and piddling after a real urination, so we had her checked and she had very light crystals ) They changed her diet from the Iams Smart Puppy to Science Diet C/D. Said there was nothing wrong with the Iams and that it's common sometimes in puppies. I'll keep you updated after we have the next urinalysis done.

Other than that she seems to be a perfectly healthy and happy puppy! Definitely going to be a big one with the big paws. She can already Sit, lay down, do 'touch' ( like tag with your hands to snout ), Shake, Stay and come, as well as stop at every intersection while walking on a leash.

Today is the first birthday of the boat dogs. Sienna is doing great, best dog I ever had. About 65 pounds and i think that shes pretty much done growing. She is active as all hell and loves her tennis balls and a Kong frisbee. She also loves boat rides and the water. Just wanted to give an update and say thanks Angie.

Thanks so much for posting the pics. She's beautiful. Same size as mom. Someone posted that the vet said theirs would be over 100 pounds. I thought to myself, no way, unless you overfeed it. 65-80 is a good size for a lab, as per breed standards. Glad you enjoy her and she you.

edit: LOL it was you! The vet told you she'd be 85-90. I knew that was too high. Didn't want to say anything at the time, though. Not gonna argue with someone's vet. :D

Just saw the post and the edit. I started to laugh because it was me that posted that the vet said she would be 85 pounds. At the time all my friends were saying the same thing because her paws were so damn big.
She was growing fast and having growing pains so we did take her off of puppy food early and put her on adult food.
She does look alot like her mom. Thanks alot & hope all is well with you.

Our dog is not one of MMSW's dogs, but she's a great dog anyway.
We found her as a pup and she looked like the polar bear in the coke commercials (a little ball of white fur) with a little splash of "honey" down her back, so we called her Honeybear.

She always wants to get in the boat.........on the driveway. I guess she figures that if she gets in the boat we won't leave her at home when we go to the river.:)

This is me trying to get the dog OUT of the boat, and she's not ready to go.:D
