It’s so extremely sad, yet very much possible a more positive outcome not for those loved ones and all that will miss her, but for her ultimately. She should have had no recollection of the events no pain and suffering and be reunited with her Husband
RIP

How devastating for the family and friends. May all three of you rest in peace and watch over the rest of your family and friends as we pass through life. :(

Sad news from our perspective. I wish the outcome would have been different, but who am I in the grand scheme of things? God,whomever you choose to envision him/her to be, has spoken. God apparently needed these three elsewhere.

While I had hope she would survive, the circumstances of the in-water rescue and subsequent condition updates pointed toward this sad outcome.

My condolences to those here that knew the victims, the families, and friends. When things like this happen, the shock and sense of loss are almost overwhelming.

Dave, I dont have a RDP sticker on my truck or any place else. That COLOR logo on a decal (or hat) would be something I would like to have.
I didnt know the individuals, but I do call Havasu a second home. This event hits home more than some of the other tragedy's Ive seen over the years. I dont know why, maybe because Ive loved these Cats, loved the event that weekend.
For whatever reason those colors in a decal would be great, like a tribute sticker that the tight inner circle of Havasu people would know what it means.

I’m going to send the files to Scott tomorrow and have him run a bunch off.

I gotta tell you this whole deal has really taken the wind out of my sails.

I have been trying to write the DS articles for a week and a half and I am just at a total loss for words every time I try.

Even though Havasu is a city, it still has a small town feel. The whole town is shaken by this tragedy. Even people that aren’t into boating are talking about it and can feel the sadness all around.

Our community is small and we are all a part of the Performance Boating way of life. To see things of this nature unfold infront if your eyes to people that are such a pillar, not only in our community but in the performance boating scene nation wide is a hard thing to digest.
All we can do now is to memorialize them by any means possible, and to keep their passion growing by continuing to promote our way of life in performance boating and in the Havasu Community in general.
This is a great loss without a doubt and will take years to heal to those closest, if ever.
May they Rest In Peace and never be forgotten...

I remember that night and following day...every where you went you overheard people talking. And you are right, not just boaters, but everyone, from older retirees to workers in the businesses etc.
