Maybe, just maybe someone stopped to pee off the back and didn’t realize the strong currents bounced the boat off of the bridge columns.

Bigger question…
Binoculars on the TV Console,,, Your neighbors are that good looking???
What are you spying on????

Some people… wow…

HAHAHAHHAH
Those binoculars are standard equipment among the elderly. When one gets to a certain age, everyone else's bizness becomes your bizness. Opening up the universe of things to complain about between watching Jeopardy reruns is a critical part of the retired lifestyle.

My 83 year old mother-in-law has perfected this. This morning at 3 AM a thunderstorm passed through, and blew over her potted mums and rolled a trash can down the driveway. She stopped by this morning and put in a good seven or eight minutes of indignation that such a thing could occur. Don't even get her started about the reckless drivers speeding along the county road that runs in front of her house.

@C-Ya will respond to this post after he wakes up from his nap, drinks his daily Ensure, and watches the afternoon news on Channel 8.

🤣

… alcoholic can be a contributing factor in a crash like this… Was out cruising around outside of the LA breakwater one night… And I heard help help and flashing light… Three guys had consumed a large amount of alcohol and smacked their 24 foot boat into the brake water..: Hooked a line to it towed over to the Coast Guard dock who intern put a pump on it… Don’t know if the Coast Guard ever confronted these guys about the alcohol consumption🤷🏽‍♀️

And it goes 138mph........
With 2 500 hp outboards????
Ahhh.... no, not quite.
Capable, yes…. Was it, VERY unlikely. There’s some silly sauce, and how enticing numbers coming from these 44s with 500s!

What a reporter. ”It was night, it was dark..” She Is on top of her game.
What she stated were conditions during the time of the incident, she's a reporter, not a damned CG-INV investigator ---- Night, Dark, Windy, Raining ---- Which if true, means whomever was at the helm, unless there was a mechanical malfunction will likely be blamed for operating at a speed greater than is reasonably prudent for prevailing conditions.

A reasonable conclusion based on an @rrrr post # 13 in this thread yesterday would also be that you're elderly. 🥴

But at least I have a sense of humor without being a troll.

Interesting that he pegged the tips of both sponsons AND the center of the hull in between. Kind of weird. Must have hit multiple parts of the bridge?
maybe 8' pylon hit perfect could get them all ! Not that much damage it looks like .
