Hi. Hope someone can help me out here, I have a Blackhawk drive that came off my Schiada project, I am going to probably put the Schiada back to an Outboard or sell her as-is. See other post.

I want to ask if this drive will work / suited to work on my 2002 26ft Firehawk Cat with the 496HO (currently running the stock Bravo 1 leg).

I am not too sure, as where the Blackhawk sits in the water to where the Bravo 1 does, not sure if its too high to use on the Cat?, this is why i am asking for some info and help please as i can't remember seeing a Blackhawk fitted up to a Cat?.

The Blackhawk is in great condition as its only been used for approx 1.5hrs while testing my Schiada, that's all it has done as was a new and unused unit.

I also have all three sets of props (i know right!) for it too.

Also, anyone have any idea what this drive and the three sets of props is worth please?.

I would love to use the drive on the Cat, one because it looks awesome and two if it will push the Cat faster and faster i'm all for that, and having the different props too i can really have some fun trying different props and see how it goes. But, if its not going to sit right in the water and do what it's meant to on the back of the cat to perform, i won't as don't want to mess up the drive or the Cat handling either!.

Thanks for any help. Pics below...

meh, Ill give you $100 for all of it. 😁

honestly though, from everything I have seen and read, the blackhawks most successful application were the inboard 20'ish Daytonas, so they are ideal for cats although I am not sure how a bigger heavier cat would perform.

would like to see how it performs

The guys who own 20 cigs love the blackhawk , they work really well on that hull. The Donzi 22 Classic Blackhawk hull was specifically made with a rocker for the drive. I owned one and it ran an honest 80 mph with a bone stock 502 mag mpi. I would advertise it on the 20 cigarette owners group and the classic donzi owners group on Facebook. Hell , If I hadn’t just had my imco lower on my 22 blueprinted by wilson , I would have made a serious offer ! Good luck with the sale !
