Haven't had a cover made in over ten years, but Michelle at Custom Covers has made 2 for me that were very good and at the time much more reasonable than everyone else.

Michelle at Custom Covers. Made both covers and Biminis for us and knocked everything out of the park. Prices have gone up for sure but she is quality. She won't do it if she can't do it right.

I have used Kristen at seam dreams for multiple projects. She has fantastic customer service and great quality products. I’ve never had to replace anything that she has done for us. If her prices are higher than others it’s totally worth it. You get what you pay for…

She certainly came off as extremely knowledgeable, polite and they clearly make a superior product based on what I’ve heard from others. That said, $5,000 for a high speed Bimini is a lot of money. Teague is currently having one made for me at significantly less money. We’ll see how it works out. They previously had one made for my Donzi that was definitely solid at speed.

That's a fair price for a full stainless top with Sunbrella fabric.

That's a fair price for a full stainless top with Sunbrella fabric.

Five grand? Prices like that are why this the only boat I own now. It's easy to launch and retrieve solo, and handles rough water with no problems.

Try Vince King Kid Santa Clarita He did most of the Bimini's / Covers for Howard back when and probably already have the pattern and won't need the boat, Install yourself.

Sunbrella Marine fabric is 50 some bucks per yard, for a solid color.

Mine is a combo of solid colors and vented panels.

You get what you pay for, yes?

I would imagine a Bimini would need 6 to 10 yards of fabric? Most businesses want to make a fourty percent mark up on parts. Yeah?

Then you add in the Super Yazoo thread they have to use, and then labor. To pay the rent, electricity and stuff like that?

Yeah, three hundred bucks would be a smoking deal indeed.

I think when you do the homework, into what goes into making a quality Bimini, the prices to build one starts to make sense.

Custom covers, 7 ' bimini, mesh stripe. Rigid poles in the rear, straps in front. $3100 today. Seam dreams for the same but with rigid front poles was $4750

It's 103in wide at base and 9ft long.
Roughly 4ft high on floor of garage.

I was really on the fence doing one at all since I’ll have to take it down for significant speed (and it’s clearly going to be an effort) however it gets so fkn hot in the summer that it’s really hard to do without one.

I’ve got a new freebie as well. All stainless and I think it’s sunbrella fabric. Ordered it 3 plus years ago for my 28 Donzi ZX but ended uo having something made instead. It’s in Havasu. Don’t know the dimensions..

I'm thinking some of these prices are reflected on the boat its on. Had my bimini top custom made for my 21ft. Mounts to the top of my tower and folds up onto it. All stainless and two tone sunbrella material with a cover, made by King Kid in Santa Clarita, I think it was around $1,500-$1,800. I thought that was allot. No way I would spend 4-5k. But it people will pay it, they will charge it.

If no one claims this and you want to clean out your garage, let me know, I just wanna use it for parts and cut it up to make a dog shade for the bed of my pick up truck. If someone has a legit use for a boat, give it to them first.

I can't stomach $5k for a top. I've got one ordered for my Stoker, stainless with solid color sides and mesh center, all in for $2100. Gal is in Rancho Cucamonga.
