Trying to find some Stainless hardware that seems elusive. It's the quick release type that functions like a VW reverse lockout(pull up with fingers). Does not have a pin.
I have had no luck anywhere, brick/mortar or on-line:headscratch:
Any ideas?
.
Looks a little like this lockout:

The ones on Eddie look like what Wakebrdr94 posted........which would probably be a fine replacement for what I have.

I know which ones you're talking about, my Essex has the same thing. They're great except one side seems to always stick a bit. Look cleaner than the pins though.

I might have some that I have switched out if you can't find any. I know I have base plates.

I had this same problem a couple years back and couldn't find a replacement as well as being told eddie marine no longer made them. Ended up changing to the newer accon quick release hinges. I believe Dana's are called "bimini flush mounts" not sure if they fit though

Thanks guys. Those are the ones, just can't find them. :scratchhead:
It might be that mine are worn a bit simply from vibration. With bimini down they've popped out a few times this season in rougher water...this past weekend included. Luckily someone has been there to grab it each time.
I kinda like the function of the other ones posted so I might switch over.
Anyone know the standard size of the top tubing?

They suck. Switch them out and never look back.

Btw. I have them too. And they are through bolted. I haven't used my bimini in two years because it popped out on me. I need to take my entire interior out to swap them over. [emoji107]🏽

I even have them waiting. The tube size doesn't matter. The ends will fit on the ends you already have.

Zig my laser has what your looking for. Exactly. My Bimini mounts in 2 places. Towards the rear for transporting and top lays on the deck lid and then you move it to the fwd holes to put it up. 10 years and never a problem. Eddie Marine is what laser used 10 yrs ago for accent parts. Idk who provided the Bimini hardware though. Pretty sure they made the top just don't know where the poles and hardware came from 100%

Tube size I need because I'm going to make rear struts instead of straps. Both long and short ones.

They're Dana products. Makes sense, I had Dana scissor lifts put on my hatch.

Maybe there's just debries in them and that's why they're not seating properly. Try soaking them in WD-40 or some oil for a few hours.

As far as the Dana ones go this is most likely your problem Ziggy.. Get in their with a tooth brush and clean them out and they will probably work fine again. You aren't the first guy this has happened too..

I prefer the quick releases that Paul posted. That's what we put on our boat.

I'm gonna take them apart and clean them up nicely and see what happens. I do like the others ones posted better as well.
I'm guessing most stainless bimini top tubing is 3/4". Can you put a caliper to yours and see?

Stainless Bimini Tubing typically 7/8" or 1" OD with .049" wall thickness.

Also get these for the rear supports

7/8 is what I meant actually.:rolleyes

Been scoping the hinged clamps already and adding to my wish list:D:D
$60 is steep...found these earlier.
