Its funny, I always am hesitant to show photos of my RPM's at speed. So many variables - getting on plane, trim not set right yet, running some tab for conditions, slowing or running up, etc. Unless you got everything set right and then SNAP, take the photo, its really hard to get an accurate reading from a pic.

The port tach was reading +/- 3-400 rpm higher most of the day. They sounded amazing & certainly couldn't hear any rpm difference. Fantastic day with great friends.

All good points. If they’re whipped 525s, and I know those gauges aren’t the most accurate, then he could be right on.
